Chiropractic care
Here at Healthline, we strive to provide the most effective chiropractic care by utilizing a variety of hands-on techniques as well as instrument assisted adjustments. All of the techniques used are safe and effective for individuals of all ages.
Therapeutic massage and trigger point therapy
Therapeutic massage is a perfect compliment to chiropractic care. It helps the body prepare for an adjustment and makes chiropractic more effective. Massage helps to decrease muscle tension and increase the body’s circulation to help you heal.
Our clinic has three certified and licensed massage therapists. Massage is a covered benefit for auto accident cases, out-of-state Blue Cross and Blue Cross Messa insured.
Physiotherapy
Cervical and Lumbar Traction – This therapy creates a gentle separation of the spinal vertebrae to increase circulation, joint mobility and helps to reduce a spinal disc bulge or herniation.
Cryotherapy uses ice to reduce inflammation and aid in decreasing pain.
Moist heat therapy promotes the healing process by increasing circulation and decreasing pain.
Intermittent Intersegmental Traction aids in the reduction of fixations in the spine and helps to break up adhesions in the soft tissue structures.
Corrective exercises which help to stabilize weakened areas of the spine and create balance in the body.
Surface EMG
This examination evaluates how your nervous system is functioning and gives your doctor additional information on specific areas of your spine.
IDD therapy
A non-invasive and non-surgical treatment for severe neck and back pain that consists of spinal decompression. This helps to align the joints of the spine, decrease the pressure inside the discs and decrease nerve root irritation. This therapy may be covered by: Auto injury, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Cross Messa, and Out-of-State Blue Cross.
COX flexion-distraction
A doctor assisted therapy which allows the doctor to gently apply a specific force to aid in the reduction of a spinal disc bulge or herrniation and restore proper motion of specific spinal segments.
Orthotics and Heel lifts
Orthotics help to stabilize and correct improper foot positioning allowing proper motion of all joints associated with walking and running. Orthotics take stress away from the body allowing you to heal faster and feel better and move more efficiently. In cases where there is a leg length inequality, heel lifts will be recommended to accommodate for the difference.
